There are 14 Fall/Winter CARA leagues with more than 700 bowlers and three Summer CARA leagues in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Although the team size, numbers of games, times and nights vary, the one thing our leagues all have in common is the goal of having fun. All leagues are USBC sanctioned. All the leagues are handicap leagues open to bowlers of all skill levels. In addition to bowling, many leagues hold special activities such as holiday parties, end-of-season banquets and awards presentations. Many league members also participate in CARA and IGBO sponsored bowling tournaments. CARA operates an Incentive Awards Program and conducts Skill Enhancement Clinics during the bowling season.
